What is the Telluride Film Festival?
The Telluride Film Festival is a annual movie festival held in Telluride. It plays a host of movies that have not been seen yet to critics or fans. No one even knows which films will play there for sure until the festival begins. Part of the reason is to show a film without any prior biases. No critic to tell you thumps up or down.
Usually the films first play to a small audience of movie stars and fans at Telluride and then they are released to a wider audience at the Toronto Film Festival. Click here for a piece from the New York Times for more information on this.
The five day event will began the 29th of August to the 2nd of September. For more information, check out the website here.
